Non-profit, replatforming
A temple community’s platform, rebuilt
20 to 24tables normalised and migrated
61permissions across 10 roles
7membership tiers, self-service
Problem
A fragile Laravel portal carried security debt, and the WordPress site sat on ageing hosting with stale plugins.
Approach
Blueprint first, then a phased rebuild alongside the live portal, ending in one transactional data migration. Website and portal now share one lean server.
What we built
- API-first Next.js PWA with an offline seva catalogue and membership card
- Seva bookings with priest scheduling, memberships, donations and tax letters
- Fundraising events with seat-count passes and QR check-in
- Kitchen, finance and content modules under role-based access
- Stripe, PayPal and staff-verified offline payments on one path
- WordPress migrated, upgraded and secured on new infrastructure
